I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from the State University of New York at Buffalo (UB), advised by Prof. Jinhui Xu and Prof. Kaiyi Ji. I was also very fortunate to work closely with Prof. Di Wang. Previously, I received my Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from China Agricultural University and a second major in Economics from Peking University.

My research interests lie in AI privacy, interpretability, and accountability. More specifically, I am interested in: 1) Theoretical foundations of machine learning; 2) Trustworthy AI, particularly privacy and robustness; 3) Training data attribution.
